My absolute favorite place! The ribs are the best I've ever had, love it that they come without sauce on them. Then grandpas saloon is the coolest little spot. Potato salad and the baked beans are the best as well.

Chris went over the top to assure our gathering was perfect. The food was great! The buffet line was extremely well organized. The room was set up to comfortably to fit our group of 42. We felt very welcome. On our way home we talked about what a great job J and J BBQ did.Thanks againSue and Sally

Worth every mile, so the TV commercials say and it's true! The ribs are tender, smoky, lean and overall delicious. The sweet, rich BBQ sauce is a perfect partner, so good. Mustard sauce is also available for those who prefer it. The baked beans are very good and coleslaw, cold, crisp with a tangy creamy dressing, two sides that deserve mention alongside the ribs. You order and pay at the counter inside the entrance and within minutes of sitting down the food arrives, piping hot. Self seating is available across multiple dining rooms, the bar and offer booths, small and large, clean tables. Staff regularly check with patrons to ensure all needs are met. This is a no-frills restaurant with plenty of character and great service, worth the trip.

First off, when you enter you need to order and pay for your order and they will bring it out to you when it is ready. For us, our 2 meals were ready in 10 minutes. I had the ribs and brisket combo. For sides I went with with slaw and BBQ beans. My wife had the ribs and shrimp. Everything is excellent. The ribs are smoked to perfection with a nice bark. The ribs are served without sauce but the table has both a tomato based sauce and a mustard based sauce. The tomato based sauce is very good. I was going to buy some on the way out but there was a line forming.I highly recommend J&J BBQ.

We had the brisket sandwich with beans, fries, and onion rings. All were delicious and the sauces first rate. J & J ranks with the best BBq we’ve had. We’re going to eat there again when we travel through the area.

We recently had the ribs at J & J BBQ, and they were fantastic!Service was outstanding; they are friendly folks, who truly care about the quality of the food they are serving.Most of the menu is gluten free as well, so if you have celiac, they will take good care of your gluten free needs.

I hear the barbecue is very good however I Always have the burgers as they are very very good and the Mac and cheese is delicious and the baked beans are out of this world, service is Fast however there's Always a line 15 Deep When We come in. This is our go to spot for lunch when we are out riding motorcycles.

This is a little no-frills mom and pop place that does fantastic brisket. We were out for a Sunday drive and came down from Hastings Minnesota to the Wisconsin side of the river and found this place. I had the brisket sandwich and my wife had a brisket wrap. The portions were generous, the fries were tender and crispy and the Mac’n cheese was cheesy and creamy! We will be back!

Cool restaurant with great BBQ and sides. I had the pork plate with coleslaw & fries, all were very good. He had half rack which was huge!! Lots of meat, and it was good, but a bit dry. Sauces are delicious. Many choices, fast service. The bar is insane with over 400 bourbon choices! Almost too overwhelming! Will be back

Love the atmosphere. The ribs were great. 1/2 rack of ribs and two sides were plenty filling for me. Quick service and very friendly.
